ASHS News for Week Beginning 20th July
by R Cranmer - Monday, 20 July 2015, 1:20 PM

This half term's core value: Creation

Theme for this week (20-21 July): ‘A better world’

I am very pleased with the way in which the new Year 7 students have settled into life at High School and equally impressed with the first week of vertical form groups. The Heads of House have done a super job preparing for this moment and their planning has clearly paid off.

On Monday we look forward to Year 10 returning from their Work Experience, hearing all about their time in the workplace and helping them get down to work on their 6th form applications and CV writing.

The summer edition of the newsletter should be with you and I hope you enjoy learning more about the huge range of exciting events and activities that have happened this term.

Thank you for your support throughout this academic year and have a super holiday.

Events this week:

•           Monday – Year 10 Work Experience reflection day, Year 10 celebration assembly

•           Tuesday – Whole school assembly and early closure (2pm)

Advance notice:

•           Thursday 3rd September – School reopens for students
